Reliance Jio has leveled serious allegations against its rivals in a letter to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Geo says both Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea are campaigning against Geo in the wake of the farmers’ movement. Geo has demanded strict action from TRAI in a letter. Geo has accused both companies of supporting farmers’ protests through mobile number portability (MNP) by Geo customers potting their numbers on their network. Due to which a large number of users are leaving Geo. However, both Airtel and V have dismissed the allegations as baseless.

In a letter to Trinamool, Reliance Jio sent some pictures of the anti-Jio campaign. He also wrote in his letter that the MNP (Mobile Number Portability) campaign was being run by Airtel and Vodafone Idea in an unethical and non-competitive manner in the wake of the ongoing peasant movement in North India. In the guise of the campaign, agents, employees and retailers of companies are asking Jio’s customers to support their movement to port their Jio numbers to Vodafone Idea and Airtel.

The letter was written on December 10 by Geo. However, the company says that it had earlier written a letter of complaint on September 28, 2020, after which the publicity of the two companies is still going on.

“We categorically deny these baseless allegations,” Bharti Airtel said in a statement. “We believe in doing business with ethics and Reliance’s allegations are baseless,” Vodafone Idea said.
