Walmart is stocking more PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X units today at 3:00 PM EST / 12:00 PM PST.

However, expect an uphill battle. The company restocked stock on Tuesday at the same time. Some customers have reported that they have successfully purchased the product, but many others have been disappointed.
We suggest you keep updating the page even after 3pm ET. While Walmart may show the out of stock item in the first few seconds, we’ve heard reports from other users that the retailer will gradually release more stock as the minutes go by.
The other caveat is how the new PS5 and Xbox units will arrive after Christmas day.
Walmart tried to stop automated bots from buying the stock. This includes using anti-bot techniques and checking individual orders. However, the retailer continues to see unprecedented traffic from consumers looking to get the next generation consoles.
“What we’re seeing at the end of the year is a person with two cell phones, a laptop and a tablet, constantly updating product pages,” a Walmart spokesperson told PCMag earlier this week. “Potentially, millions of people are doing it at the same time.”
If you can’t buy the console from Walmart, hope is not entirely lost. We recommend that you try a free inventory check, which can immediately notify you of ongoing PS5 and Xbox Series X restocking from all major retailers.
