Toyota Fortuner Facelift India launching on January 6th is the key change in the new model here

Japanese automaker Toyota is set to launch a new facelift incarnation of the luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) Toyota Fortuner in the Indian market. According to the information received, this new facelift model will be launched in the market on January 6. Both externally and internally of this new model, the company has made some special changes, which will make it better than the current model. So let us know about those changes –

Outer part: The biggest change in the new Toyota Fortuner will be seen in its front grille. In this, the company is using a brand new mesh pattern grill. Apart from this, new design LED headlamps, day time running lights and new rear bumpers have been provided. The company is using a newly designed 18-inch alloy wheel. However, no changes will be made to its tail lamps and rear bumpers.

Home: As far as the interior is concerned, it will be mostly the same as the current model, although it will have an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Which supports Android Auto Toe and Apple Pal Car Play. Apart from this no other information about internal change was found. However, the Fortuner that the company sells in other Asian countries includes revised drivers instrument cluster, wireless smartphone charging, 360 degree camera, etc.

You will find these features: Among the SUVs available in the global market, the company offers features like JBL audio dio system, wireless charging, 8th power adjustable driver seat and LED ambient lighting. It is believed that the company may include these features in the facelift model offered in the Indian market.

Engine: As far as the engine is concerned, the company will not make any changes as it will earlier use a 2.8-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. However its power output can be slightly increased, generating a power of about 204bhp and a torque of 500Nm. The current diesel engine delivers 177bhp of power and 450Nm of torque. Apart from this in the petrol version, the company will use a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine that will generate 166bhp of power and 245Nm of torque. It will be provided with a manual and automatic transmission gearbox.

You will find this special type: According to media reports, the company will also launch the Toyota Fortuner Legend in the Indian market. Indeed, this will be the premium version of this SUV. It has a small design and a sharp grille with bi-projector LED headlamps. Apart from this it will be given a skid plate, a new design fog lamp and, more importantly, a 20-inch alloy wheel. It will have a 9.0-inch touch screen infotainment system.
