The upcoming Toyota Fortuner Facelift spied without disguising before launching in India on January 6

Toyota recently launched a facelift variant of their popular Innova Crysta MPV. It is one of the most successful products for Toyota in India. Now, the Japanese automaker’s new facelift variant of its Fortuner SUV, slated to launch on January 6, 2021, has been spied and images are making the rounds online.

The next-generation Fortuner SUV made its global debut in Southeast Asian markets earlier this year, where the company also introduced a special variant called the Fortuner Legender. The Legender can be considered as a premium version of the refurbished Fortuner. Both models differ in a number of exterior and interior upgrades that have more exclusive features.

The updated SUV was recently spotted in India while filming a television commercial (TVC), which confirms that both Fortuner models will be launched next year.

The Fortuner is an established brand with a loyal customer base and not only thrills new buyers but also earns good resale value. The seven-seater SUV faced a tough challenge from Ford Endeavor, Mahindra Alturas G4 and the recently launched MG Gloster.

The new revamped version of the Fortuner receives several updates on both the front and the rear. The Legender offers a fresh vibe compared to the current model. It features a sharpened upper front grille, sleeker LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, a new sportier black lower radiator grille, a new front bumper, piano-black extensions and 20-inch alloy wheels, among others. others.

It also features wraparound LED taillights, rear spoiler, unique vertical blades on the rear bumper. It is available in a two-tone paint scheme as the SUV is available in White Pearl CS, while the roof and C-pillar have a black trim. The roof spoiler and the underside of the exterior mirrors will also be in black.

The SUV’s interior updates will include an optimized instrument cluster with a multi-information display and two-tone treatment for the leather-trimmed cabin.

Under the hood, the new Fortuner Legender will be powered by a 2.8-liter BS6-compliant diesel unit, enough to produce 204hp of peak power and maximum torque of 500Nm. Transmission choices will include a six-speed manual and a six-speed sequential automatic unit.
