Volkswagen has globally unveiled the restyling of the Polo 2021, with a series of updates. The presales of the new Polo should start in May.
The restyling of the Volkswagen Polo 2021 was presented globally. The popular Polo sedan now comes with a mid-cycle makeover, packed with numerous design updates and additional features and equipment.
The new restyled version of the sixth generation Volkswagen Polo will be offered in four variants: Polo, Life, Style and R-Line.
The entry-level trim of the Polo 2021 features standard LED headlights, LED taillights, 8.0-inch digital cockpit, 6.5-inch monitor with Bluetooth pairing interface, and 14-inch alloy wheels ( 15 inches optional).
The finest Polo Style trim features new IQ LED matrix headlights with LED daytime running lights that extend over the sleek front grille. It is now also equipped with LED fog lights, a distinctive chrome-looking crossbar, optional 15-inch Ronda alloy wheels and 14-inch LED taillights as standard.
The top of the line Volkswagen Polo R-Line is the sporty variant on offer and comes with a few additional elements. These include the high-gloss black finish air intake and diffuser, integrated chrome-look exhaust panels and larger 16-inch Valencia alloy wheels.
The interior of the new Volkswagen Polo has also received a major update. The 2021 iteration of the popular sedan now features a digital instrument cluster and large touchscreen infotainment head unit with the brand’s Ready2Discover system, offering wireless connection to apps and navigation system. The new Polo also features premium upholstery, a steering wheel with mounted controls, electrically adjustable and heated ORVMs and many more.
Volkswagen has yet to reveal the technical specifications of the 2021 Polo hatchback. However, considering this is a mid-cycle makeover, it is expected to carry the same engine and transmission options as before.
