Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo X60 series by the end of this month. While a recent leak said it could go official on December 28, the Chinese firm has yet to confirm this. Prior to launch, official renders of the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro smartphones have surfaced once again.
The Vivo X50 series that debuted in June came with 6.56-inch Samsung E3 AMOLED displays that offered a resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels. The same display should be available on the Vivo X60 with some modifications. Instead of the selfie camera cutout in the top left corner available on X50 models, later editions will have a top-centered punch hole. Instead of 90Hz, Vivo X60 will support a higher refresh rate of 120Hz. The renders show that the Vivo X60 will have a flat screen, while the Pro model’s display has curved edges.
The rear appearance of the Vivo X60 series is not very different from the X50 range. The Vivo X60 has a triple camera system that includes a 48-megapixel main camera with an f / 1.6 aperture, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 13-megapixel vertical snapper.
On the other hand, the Vivo X60 Pro will offer users a four-camera setup that is said to include a 48-megapixel main camera with an f / 1.48 aperture, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 13-megapixel vertical lens, and a periscopic zoom lens. 8 megapixel camera. The Exynos 1080 chipset will power the Vivo X60 and X60 Pro up to 12GB of RAM. The X60 series will be the first Vivo phones to come loaded with the brand new Android 11 operating system with OriginOS flavor.
The Vivo X60 family also includes the Vivo X60 Pro +, which will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 888. While it may feature the same display as the other X60 models, it may be equipped with an advanced rear camera system. X60 series phones may be equipped with 33W fast charging.
