Realme X2 Pro stable Android 11 (Realme UI 2.0) released for limited users

New updates are added at the bottom …

The original story (released December 18, 2020) follows:

Realme is one of those few OEMs who have had the opportunity to try Android 11 in its beta version. The company also worked thoughtfully on its internal skin, Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11.

The company released an Android 11 early access roadmap for eligible devices in September, not long after Google rolled out the update.

Realme X50 Pro, being the flagship offering, received the beta update as early as September. Next in the device hierarchy should have been Realme X2 Pro, followed by other devices.

But it turned out to be unfortunate news for Realme X2 Pro users after discovering that the device was scheduled to get the Android 11 update at the end of the year.

However, it didn’t take much longer and the positive news started rolling in as soon as we entered in December. Realme X2 Pro bagged Android 11 in China, sparking enthusiasm in the global and Indian fan community.

The global variants of Realme X2 Pro were expected to receive Realme UI 2.0 with Android 11 towards the end of December. Well, the good news is that the long-awaited update has started rolling out.

The official Twitter handle of Realme India support reported that the update is about to roll out as a stable Realme UI 2.0. Check out this morning’s correct answer.

Hello Karthik,
We would like to inform you that we have started rolling out the Android 11 based Realme UI 2.0 stable update for Realme X2 Pro in a phased manner and it will be available to all users soon. Stay tuned to our community page for more information.

This is a surprise not only for coming so early, but also for being a stable update. According to the support, it is developing gradually, so it will take some time to reach everyone.

The device section on Twitter and in the Realme community appears to be inactive, but this information comes directly from Realme India support, so it has some meaning.

At the moment, the version number and the change log are not yet known. Meanwhile, users can also head to their update centers to check if an update is actually available.

Realme Care folks have not been consistently accurate in the past, but if trends from previous updates are anything to build upon, an upcoming launch seems highly likely.
