PM Narendra Modi Speech Live Farmers Protest Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced Rs 18,000 crore under the PM Kisan Sandham Nidhi Yojana amid ongoing farmers’ agitation on Delhi’s borders. Before Modi started talking to the farmers, as part of the next installment of the PM Kisan Yojana, he had deposited Rs. 1,000,000 crore were transferred. After this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with crores of farmers from 6 states. PM Modi said that the Opposition was spreading confusion over the agreement farming. Some leaders are busy promoting their political ideology in the name of opposing the peasants.

PM Modi first spoke to Gagan Pering, a farmer from Arunachal Pradesh, in a dialogue program with farmers. Gagan Pering said he received Rs 6,000 under the PM Kisan Fund, which was used to buy organic fertilizers and medicines. He then said that 6 446 farmers are associated with him under FPO who grow organic ginger. After this, PM Modi politely asked farmer Gagan, does the company only take your ginger or even land? Gagan said no, the company does not take land. Talking about this farmer, PM Modi said that you have been sitting in Arunachal Pradesh so far and saying that your land is safe, but there is confusion among the farmers that farmers’ land will be taken here.

During a discussion with Kisan Naveen of Odisha, PM Modi talked about Kisan Credit Card and asked about its benefits. PM Modi said that Atalji’s government had started giving cheap loans to farmers, we are moving it forward. PM Modi further said that I request you to tell the farmers about Kisan Credit Card and its various benefits, in which loans are available at low interest rates.

“I got my Kisan credit card in 2019,” Naveen, a farmer from Odisha, told PM Modi. I took a loan of Rs 27,000 on a loan from a bank at only 4 per cent interest as compared to 20 per cent of intermediaries.

PM Modi transferred the next installment of PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana through video conferencing at the press of a button and spent Rs. 18,000 crore transferred to the accounts of more than 9 crore farmer beneficiaries.

Let me tell you that the BJP has decided to celebrate the release of the next installment of financial benefits under the PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) and is preparing for it. A target has been set to ensure the participation of one crore farmers in the programs planned for this.

There was also a tweet by PM Modi in this regard, in which he wrote, ‘Tomorrow (Friday) is a very important day for the food providers of the country. More than 90 million farming families will have the opportunity to skip the next installment of PM-Kisan through video conferencing at 12 noon. On this occasion, farmers from many states will also interact with their brothers and sisters.

During this period, Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs and other elected representatives as well as other BJP leaders will participate in programs organized by the party across the country and also interact with farmers. The BJP has decided to launch the program at a time when farmers have been protesting against three agricultural laws for more than four weeks on various borders in Delhi. They are adamant on repealing these laws while the government has completely rejected this demand.

The occasion is the day when the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will also be celebrated in the country. Since coming to power in 2014, the BJP has been celebrating this day as ‘Good Governance Day’. BJP national general secretary Arun Singh said that BJP leaders and farmers from across the country would take part in various programs on the occasion of the festival. These events will be held in more than 19,000 locations across the country. The participation of more than one crore farmers of the country has been ensured in these programs. He said the programs would be held at 3000 places in Uttar Pradesh alone.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in the program at the capital Mehrauli and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh in Dwarka Sector 15. Informing about the various measures taken for the farmers, Singh claimed that the country’s farmers are with Prime Minister Modi. “The country’s farmers are confident that if one can do good for the country’s agriculture, only Prime Minister Narendra Modi can do it,” he said.
