Since his debut in Australia, Rahul has played 36 trials, 35 ODI and 45 international T20s.

The right hitter has become a prolific run-getter for India, especially in limited formats.

Rahul scored 1332 runs in ODI at an average of 45.93 with four centuries and 1542 runs in T20Is at an average of 44.05 with two hundred.

Rahul’s consistent performance saw him named vice captain for the limited India leg of their tour of Australia, with regular vice captain Rohit Sharma absent due to fitness issues.

Rahul has also hired the captain of Kings XI Punjab for the 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

Rahul also had a prolific season in the IPL, finishing as the top scorer, even though his team failed to reach the knockout stages.

Rahul is currently preparing for India’s four-test series against Australia.
