Juhi Chawla holds out with the Calcutta knights after their fight against the super kings of Chennai

Juhi Chawla took to social media to support Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who suffered a narrow defeat to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in match 15, at Wankhede Stadium. The KKR co-owner took to Twitter and praised the team’s effort in what was a close match against MS Dhoni’s CSK. Good batting performances from Pat Cummins, Andre Russell and Dinesh Karthik helped KKR take the game to the last during the chase. “Proud of our KKR team .. after such a shaky start where it felt like we were collapsing ..!. !!!! our boys played strong and hard, and led to a close match .. !! Thanks Russell, DK, Pat .. !!! @ Russell12A @DineshKarthik @ patcummins30 @KKRiders “.

Pursuing a 221-run goal, KKR faced a severe slump, losing the top order of their single-digit scoring batting lineup. Chennai’s Deepak Chahar topped KKR’s top order with a four-wicket radius.

It was only after the average order of the team arrived that the pressure began to build on the CSK bowling unit.

Karthik hit 40 out of 24 balls, filled with four fours and two sixes. He was fired from Lungi Ngidi.

Meanwhile, Andre Russell scored half a century (54 in 22 balls), but could not anchor his team’s inning, losing his wicket to Sam Curran.

Australian pacer Pat Cummins broke an unbeaten shot of 66 runs in 34 balls, but received no support, with KKR being eliminated in 19.1 over, after scoring 202 runs. Cummins also bagged four fours and six sixes.

The win helped CSK climb to the top of the 2021 IPL standings, with six points from four games. Meanwhile, KKR are sixth in the standings, with only one win out of four games.
