With Christmas around the corner and the festivities kicking off, noted industrialist Anand Mahindra shared a heartwarming video on Twitter today saying it made him “cry so early in the day”.
The Mahindra Group president posted a touching Christmas video on Twitter. “Shoot; you made me cry so early in the day. No grandson yet, but my grandson is that age …” he tweeted.
The video, an advertisement, begins with a grandfather, who wakes up every day and practices the weight with a photo by his side. Keeping us guessing until the end, the video shows viewers trying to understand why the elder was exercising. Eventually, the grandfather can be seen visiting his granddaughter with a gift – a poinsettia – which he helps put on top of a decorated tree.
The 2-minute video was viewed nearly 20,000 times within an hour of Mr. Mahindra’s tweet.

Reacting to the video, Twitterati said he was “moved” and had “tears” watching the video.

Anand Mahindra is known for inspiring people and sharing tales of talented people on Twitter with many.
Previously, the 65-year-old industrialist shared a video of an eight-year-old boy called “the fastest boy in the world”.
“He’s like a car. His legs are a blur when he runs. He will undoubtedly become the fastest man in the world,” reads the shared caption alongside the clip.
