Hades now allows you to share saves between PC and Switch

If you liked Ade enough to buy it a second time, good news: you can now play the same save on both PC and Switch. Supergiant Games developers last night rolled out the “Cross-save” update on Switch, which allows you to link the game to your Steam or Epic account and share saves through the cloud. So if you want, you don’t have to start over and unlock everything again on your Nintendo. Beautiful.

Supergiant explained the process on Twitter:

Along with unlocking and progression, some Cheevos will also carry over from Switch to PC. Supergiant to say, “The one-off results based on stories should have all been recorded. Those that should be completable within a reasonable amount of time may have to be earned again.” warns you should use different save slots on PC and Switch.

After nine months of early access, Hades launched on PC and Switch in September. It’s okay, says our Ade review. I haven’t even played Hades (because I can only hold the understanding of three roguelikelikes in my brain at the same time, and all the slots are full of games that I love) but I really enjoyed as a spectator, both for Twitch and for seeing all the people awesome, amazing, horny and awesome that people are creating.
