- The people of Myanmar are in danger because of the construction of this 2000 km long high-tech Chinese wall
- Not only that, China is building this ‘wall’ very close to the Myanmar border in some places.
China’s ancient ‘Great Wall’ attracts tourists from all over the world but has now begun work on building another ‘Great Wall’ on the Myanmar border with the help of dragon barbed wire. The people of Myanmar are in danger because of the construction of this wall which is about 2000 kilometers long. Not only that, China is also building this ‘wall’ very close to the Myanmar border in some places, which has also been opposed by the Myanmar army. Let us know what is the real purpose of this new Great Wall of China.
According to Radio Free Asia, a 2,000-kilometer-long wall is being built along the Myanmar border. Chinese media have claimed that the purpose of building the wall is to prevent illegal infiltration from Myanmar into the country. On social media, construction of the wall began with a 6- to 9-meter-high barbed wire in China’s southwestern Yunnan province. Radio Free Asia, on the other hand, says that the real purpose of China’s new Great Wall is to prevent dissidents from fleeing China.
Myanmar protests, China not heard
Earlier, China launched a barbed wire fence on the border with Myanmar’s Shan State, which was opposed by the Myanmar army. Myanmar’s military has strongly opposed the wiring in a letter to Chinese officials. Myanmar’s Irrawaddy newspaper reported that the country’s military spokesman, Major General Xu Minh Tun, said China had started fencing near post number BP-125 on Sunday.
Major Tune said, ‘The local battalion has sent a letter of objection to the Chinese side. We have raised this objection on the basis of the 1961 Border Treaty. The provisions of this treaty state that no structure can be constructed within 10 meters of the demarcation. China claims it is building a fence to prevent people from entering illegally. He has ignored Myanmar’s opposition.
China is building a southern wall to crush dissidents
Radio Free Asia said that the entire project is being run under the name ‘Southern Great Wall’. The first phase of the project has been completed and fencing in an area of 650 km has been completed. China plans to complete the construction of the high-tech wall on the 2,000-kilometer border with Myanmar by 2022. The electric current continues in the fence and powerful cameras with infrared sensors have been installed.
Experts say the plan to build this wall did not happen in one stroke. The whole planning is hidden behind it. Once this fence is built, Chinese dissidents will not be able to easily go to Myanmar or Vietnam. He said China does not want its opponents to leave the country and hide in these countries. An expert named Wang said that since Xi Jinping came to power in China, he has not only stopped dissidents from leaving the country, but also kidnapped Chinese nationals abroad.
