Cyberpunk 2077 performs 30 FPS with ray tracing and DLSS in 8K on the RTX 3090

The news on Cyberpunk 2077 does not stop, today an article that falls a little more in the category of fun. You have seen all the benchmarks here on Guru3D; the game is brutal.

The game has now also been tested on 8K with a GeForce RTX 3090, and we’ve all heard NVIDIA say this, this game makes 8K gaming possible. When DLSS is enabled, you get the deep learning supersampling technique, a playable frame rate of an average of 31. Disabling ray tracing also doesn’t make a big difference, so the frame rate rises to 38. We should add that this too is a factory overclocked RTX 3090.

It is interesting to note that playing in this high resolution requires the most out of video memory. The game takes up 21GB of non-ray-traced and ray-traced graphics memory, almost the maximum available. Below are the results courtesy of TT.
