Arjun Rampal seeks until 21 December to appear before NCB in drug case | Hindi movie news

Actor Arjun Rampal sought until December 21 to appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drug-related case, an agency official said Wednesday.

“Actor Arjun Rampal is looking for time until December 21 to appear before NCB,” an official told ANI.

The NCB had summoned the plaintiff to appear before him today in an investigation into a drug-related case on Tuesday.

In particular, Arjun Rampal was questioned by the NCB on 13 November on the matter.

On 9 November, NCB officials raided Arjun Rampal’s residence and seized some electronic gadgets. Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades was subsequently interrogated for six hours on the same day.

The NCB also arrested Paul Bartel, a friend of Arjun Rampal, in the case. Further investigations into drug-related cases are ongoing.

Meanwhile, a special narcotics court in Mumbai on Tuesday bailed Agisilaos Demetriades, the brother of Rampal’s girlfriend Gabriella, in connection with a drug case.

The Special Court for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) gave him a bail on a bail of Rs 50,000. He also asked Demetriades to present his passport and not to leave the city without informing the Narcotics Control Bureau.

Demetriades was arrested by NCB in October this year after breaking into a resort in Lonavala, where she also allegedly found drugs. He had secured his bail in October, however, he was not released as the NCB had filed a FIR in another drug-related matter.
