Nine years had passed, on November 16, 2011, when elated grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan, announced the arrival of an angel in their lives while her daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, had given birth to a daughter at SevenHills Hospital in Andheri. Announcing that Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan had embraced parenthood and the arrival of an angel in the Bachchan home, Big B had tweeted: “I’m Dada for the cutest little girl.” To celebrate his niece’s ninth birthday in 2020, Big B had released a collage, featuring 9 photos of Aaradhya from when he had one until now. Mr. Bachchan titled it “Happy Birthday Aaradhya … all my love”.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently hosting the twelfth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati and in one of the special episodes for children, he recalled an incident where he accidentally interrupted his granddaughter, Aaradhya Bachchan’s virtual class. When she once saw Aaradhya doing yoga, she asked her what she was doing. To which, Aaradhya asked him to step aside as his online class went on and his teacher taught yoga. Then, when the child contestant noticed and complimented the twin on Big B’s dress, he revealed that all of his twins have names of all the children in his family and the one he wears has his grandson, the name of Agastya Bachchan. .
Amitabh Bachchan had spent her solitary confinement at her Mumbai residence, Jalsa with her children, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and grandchildren, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan. Mr. Bachchan had made the most of his isolation phase by keeping up with his fitness regimen and a few months ago, Big B had posted a mirror selfie with his workout partner. Elder Bachchan posted a mirror selfie with his grandson, Agastya, and his expression made him the coolest grandfather ever! In May 2019, Agastya Nanda had graduated from London’s Sevenoaks School and her proud grandfather, Amitabh Bachchan, wrote her feelings on her blog. He wrote: “Another (nephew) graduated several miles away and it is a time of great pride and joy … The family is all with him and there are frequent messages and images flying around. But I mean, it’s just born the other day and we had all been around his mother at Breach Candy Hospital, and we brought him into the world with affection and love … And here he is today, spanking big boy, carnation on the lapel of his jacket, red hair and I look very British … And taller than everyone else in the family. In an interview with IANS, Amitabh Bachchan shared how he takes advantage of his authority figure in the home and spoils his grandchildren, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan.
